Meet the Trainers
We have developed a range of classes to fit the specific needs of my clients, including personal training. Along with my one-on-one sessions, attending my classes provides a more social way of getting fit and the enjoyment of being part of a group working towards a common goal. La’Drissa is a champion bodybuilder who shares the secrets of getting a “superbody” at ProFit Studio, located at 3700 S. Indiana Avenue. Now a Master Personal Trainer, pro athlete and motivational speaker, she was inspired to pursue bodybuilding at a young age when she first saw women bodybuilders on TV. But the path to her personal success started in corporate America, which she quickly discovered was not for her. La’Drissa soon left the corporate world to do what she loves—staying fit and sharing the keys to a strong and healthy body with her clients.
Her passion for fitness won her numerous titles such as Physique Pro with the International Federation of Body Builders, including Olympian and Arnold finalist. She provides her clients with more than an exercise routine. La’Drissa is also a clinical esthetician, yoga instructor and a fitness model—and a comic book hero, to boot. ProFit clients can also get advice on proper nutrition as well as the tools and techniques to stay fit even when they can’t make it to her studio.

Danielle has been with Profit since 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Illinois State University with a major in Exercise Science. She is a certified physical trainer and also is certified in Group Exercise Instruction, Kettlebell Training, and Intensive Lifestyle Coaching
“I love helping clients be a better version of themselves,” Parrott says. “To see how far they've come since starting with us, it's truly an honor to be a part of their journey.” As a coach she tries to stress the importance of form and technique. She also pays attention to her clients’ needs. “I also make sure to listen. If you can't do something, no worries, I make sure to always provide modifications so that clients don't miss a beat!”
Danielle can usually be found teaching High Intensity Interval Training and Bootcamp.
Guiliano Buckner has an Active Trainer certification from the American Council on Fitness. He has been working at ProFit since 2017.
Guiliano says that what drives him every day is the client’s instant gratification and affirmation. “Knowing that I have the ability to impact someone’s life for the greater good makes it easy to come into work every day,” he says. He is thrilled to be working with La”Drissa Bonivel. “The culture that she established and enforces is what sets the gym apart from others. To say you feel part of a family when you come is an understatement. The trainers are elite athletes who have the capability to train any fitness level.”
As a professional trainer, he appreciates La’Drissa because she “allows you to be creative and she does not micromanage. She is transparent in her expectations of the gym, her clients and her trainer. She expects greatness and demonstrates it.” Guiliano, who is also an empowerment coach, tells clients that “you may not always be motivated which is why you have to be disciplined.” He brings his discipline and attention to detail to each and every client who walks through the door.
Shane has been a certified trainer for 13 years. He is CPR certified, ISSA certified and also certified by the National Academy of Sports and Medicine. He is a self-taught, award-winning bodybuilder who has placed in the top 5 in all his shows. He has power lifted in meets across the country and sets record that held for years.
“I am most passionate about the actual training itself,” Shane says. “Actually working with the client hands on. Seeing the clients transformation and watch them take the tools that you have given them and they use them to become successful. Once I give them the tools, I have empowered them to take the next step.”
Shane loves working at ProFit. “I appreciate the opportunity that LaDrissa has given me,” he says. “She allows me to work with her and her clients. I share her passion for fitness and to be able to get the knowledge that she has. I look at her as a mentor and role model.”
Kendra Turner is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer with a mission of unlocking your inner athlete. Whether your goal is to lose weight and get fit or build muscle, Kendra can help you meet those goals with her special mix of cardio intervals, strength and resistance training. Be prepared to dig deep and push beyond what you truly thought was possible. Your reward? Weight loss, a toned body and boosted confidence that has a holistic impact on all areas of your life.
As a long time student of fitness, you will find her constantly researching and studying ways to mold muscle and maximize movements to help her clients and herself achieve their fitness goals. Kendra is also certified in fitness nutrition and senior fitness, she is a certified Real Ryder Indoor Cycling Instructor, and has completed TRX suspension training qualification
Jason is a certified fitness instructor, specializing in cycling and kickboxing. Before becoming a fitness instructor, he was a member of DePaul’s Track and Field team. As a member of the Blue Demons, he broke the men’s indoor long jump record and the 4x100 meter relay. “Cardio is a great way to have fun and state in shape. Cycling and kickboxing have allowed me to tap into my love of competition, and allow others to do the same”.
Austin Pope is an accomplished Spin Instructor with over 20 years of experience. Affectionately know as "Yoda", he is an avid cycling enthusiast who brings aspects of the joy of riding outside into the Swerve Spin Studio. Always pushing boundaries, Austin motivates his students and fellow cyclists to reach new heights of fitness by challenging their perception of what they think they can do.
Her love of this challenging workout led her to become an indoor cycling instructor. Ophelia's goal is to create an upbeat environment that encourages positive cardio and positive results. Her classes are full of energy and are sure to get you positive results. Ophelia is certified in indoor cycling by Profit Studios and by Realryder. She aims to create a unique and exhilarating class each and every time.
